This wine nook is a perfect example of the custom work that inspired us to create Chatelle Woodworking and Furniture. The countertop is ceramic tile and incorporates four custom painted tiles, the base and upper stemware display rack are Maple with a Cocobolla accent. The stemware is accented by a lighting system behind front edge of the display rack. Several coats of oil were hand rubbed to create the finish. We worked closely with Sally Wooly Interiors of Portland Oregon who's vision made the overall design really come together. The mural she created was the guideline for color and a large influence on the use of Maple and Cobolla. At close to six feet wide and 12 inches deep we estimate the bottle storage at 200 and the stemware at 35-45 glasses.
