Hand crafted Furniture

Hand crafted furniture takes an old world approach to the creation of furniture that isn’t just an object. When a master craftsmen spends hours on a chair it becomes a labor of love. And the time and effort that go into making it are noticeable in other ways as well. You don’t get the quality and craftsmanship that these pieces offer any other way.

For starters, hand crafted furniture is more durable than factory made furniture. While an engineer can calculate the most efficient way to make tables, their goal is not quality, or durability, but cost. The less it costs the factory to produce its furniture, the more money the factory can make. This often comes at the expense of other considerations, while hand crafted furniture holds no such delusions.

That does mean, however, that hand crafted furniture will cost more than comparable factory floor pieces. The reason is that while a factory made table might last 10 years, a hand crafted table is built to last your lifetime and beyond. Being able to pass on a favorite table, chair, couch, or bench that your child remembers growing up in is truly a priceless opportunity.
